How Adobe pricing works
Adobe Creative Cloud is subscription-only, licensed per named user. You pick one of three billing cadences:
- Annual, billed monthly is the default.
- Annual, prepaid is the cheapest per year.
- Month-to-month has no early-termination fee but costs 50% more per month. Creative Cloud Pro is $104.99/mo month-to-month versus $69.99/mo on an annual plan.
On top of the subscription sits a usage layer called generative credits. Standard AI generations, like Generative Fill and text-to-image, are unlimited on Creative Cloud Pro and Firefly plans. Premium features such as AI video, audio, and partner models draw from a monthly credit balance that resets each month and doesn't roll over. Adobe began enforcing these limits in June 2025.
How you buy depends on your size:
- Individuals, students, and teachers subscribe directly.
- Small and midsize teams of roughly 2 to 50 licenses buy Teams plans, either from Adobe or a reseller.
- Enterprises above about 50 licenses buy Creative Cloud for Enterprise, either through VIP Marketplace (annual and volume-tiered) or through a 3-year negotiated ETLA.
Every user in a single Admin Console profile has to be on the same licensing type, so you can't mix Teams and Enterprise in one profile.
Adobe restructured Creative Cloud in mid-2025, and the old "All Apps" plan is now Creative Cloud Pro. Any pre-2025 figure, like the $59.99/mo All Apps price, no longer applies to new subscriptions.
Adobe pricing plans
Prices are in USD on annual billing, billed monthly, unless noted.
Individual plans
Firefly plans
All four Firefly plans include unlimited standard generations.
Teams plans (per license)
Creative Cloud for Enterprise
Enterprise covers organizations above about 50 licenses. It adds:
- SSO
- Centralized deployment tools
- 1TB of storage per user
- 24x7 priority support
- A commitment that Adobe and partner models won't train on your content
Generative credits depend on the edition. ETLA Edition 5 includes 8,000 premium credits per user per month, and Edition 4 includes 4,000. Both also include unlimited standard generations.
Adobe doesn't publish ETLA per-seat pricing. Any per-seat number you see elsewhere is an analyst estimate, not an Adobe list price.

The subscription price is rarely the full bill. Here's what tends to add cost after you sign.
Premium credit costs scale with resolution, frame rate, and output length. Some per-action rates, from Adobe's generative-credits FAQ:
How to negotiate lower Adobe pricing
- Benchmark before you talk to Adobe. Compare your quote to what similar companies actually pay for Creative Cloud. List price is Adobe's opening number, not the market rate.
- Match each seat to actual usage. A CC Pro for teams seat costs $99.99/mo. Moving a one-app user to Single App for teams ($37.99) cuts that seat by 62%. If someone uses several apps but not the full suite, Essentials for teams ($39.99) keeps the same 4,000 monthly credits for $60 less per seat.
- Hit the VIP Marketplace volume levels. Discounts start at 10 licenses and step up at 50 and 100. There's no discount below 10 seats. Firefly standalone, Adobe Stock credit packs, and Acrobat Sign transactions don't count toward reaching a level, so count only qualifying licenses when you plan the purchase.
- Commit annually instead of month-to-month. For individual CC Pro, annual billing ($69.99/mo) saves a third compared with month-to-month ($104.99/mo). Prepaying for the year ($779.99) saves a bit more. Weigh either against the 50% early-termination fee before you commit.
- Consider a 3-year ETLA at enterprise scale. A multi-year commitment can lock in a lower negotiated rate, with an annual true-up for growth. Because Adobe doesn't publish ETLA pricing, your own seat counts and usage data are your main negotiating evidence.
- Bring credible alternatives. Buyers point to the Affinity suite, now free with a Canva account, and DaVinci Resolve ($0 to $295 one-time) as alternatives that put pressure on Adobe's pricing. They're most useful for seats that don't depend on Adobe-specific workflows.
- Time your renewal to Adobe's fiscal calendar. Adobe's fiscal year ends in late November. Renewals negotiated close to that year-end close usually have the most room on price.
- Use education pricing where it applies. Verified students and teachers pay $19.99/mo for CC Pro in year one, about 71% below the individual price. Institutions buy through VIP Marketplace or an ETLA.
